1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners about how their site is being used. Cookies may be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function properly. They enable core functions such as security, session management, and accessibility. You cannot opt out of these cookies without affecting site functionality.
Cookie: session_id | Purpose: Maintains your session state | Duration: Session | Type: First-party
2.2 Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our website — which pages are most visited, how long visitors stay, and where they come from. This helps us improve our content and user experience. The data is aggregated and IP addresses are not stored.
Where you are, and your choice, decide whether GA4 uses cookies.
- In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: GA4 sets the cookies listed below only if you choose “Accept All”. If you choose “Essential Only”, or make no choice, GA4 runs in cookieless mode.
- Everywhere else: GA4 sets the cookies listed below by default to count visits. You can turn them off at any time with “Essential Only”, in the cookie banner or under “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page. We then delete them, and GA4 runs in cookieless mode.
- Cookieless mode: GA4 sets no cookie, reads no cookie, and stores no identifier on your device. It sends only an anonymous, aggregate signal that a page was viewed — it cannot recognise you, and it cannot follow you to another site or to a later visit. This is the same principle as the cookieless tool described in section 2.4.
We determine your region from the country of your internet connection when the page loads. If it cannot be determined, we apply the European rule. We do not use advertising cookies in any region.
_ga — Registers a unique ID to generate statistical data on site usage | Duration: 2 years | Google Analytics
_ga_XXXXXXXXXX — Used by GA4 to persist session state | Duration: 2 years | Google Analytics
_gid — Registers a unique ID to generate statistical data | Duration: 24 hours | Google Analytics
For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics Opt-Out.
2.3 Analytics Cookies — Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages — clicks, scrolling, and dead ends. This helps us find and fix confusing layouts. Form content is masked, so Clarity never records what you type into our forms.
Clarity follows the same regional rule as GA4 (section 2.2). In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, it loads only after you choose “Accept All”. Everywhere else it runs by default, and “Essential Only” turns it off and deletes its cookies.
_clck — Stores a Clarity user ID and settings | Duration: 1 year | Microsoft Clarity
_clsk — Connects page views into one session | Duration: 1 day | Microsoft Clarity
For more information, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
2.4 Cookieless Analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool from Cloudflare, Inc. It sets no cookies and stores no personal identifier. It counts visits in aggregate only — page URL, referrer, and browser type. It does not track you individually and does not follow you across sites.
Because it uses no cookies and cannot identify you, it runs even if you choose “Essential Only”. This is how we count visits without tracking people. For details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
2.5 Form and Contact Button Counts — First-Party, Cookieless
Our own website also keeps simple daily totals of form and contact-button events — for example, “WhatsApp chat opened”, “quote form sent” or “form not sent because a required field was missing”. Each event only adds 1 to a total grouped by day, event, form, reason, page language and device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), and in some cases by the part of the site where the button was used. These totals set no cookies, store no identifier and do not record your IP address or anything you type into a form.
Because these totals cannot identify you, they run even if you choose “Essential Only”. We use them only to find and fix problems in our forms and contact buttons. What you send us through a form is covered by our Privacy Policy.
3. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
Browser Settings: All modern browsers allow you to control cookie settings through their privacy/security settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or notify you when a cookie is being sent. Note that disabling cookies may affect website functionality.
Opt-Out Tools: Google Analytics: use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
Do Not Track: Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature. Our website currently does not respond differently to DNT signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for DNT.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services that appear on our pages (such as embedded content or analytics tools). These third parties have their own privacy policies and cookie practices, and we do not control them. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these third parties for more information.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in our cookie practices or applicable law. We will indicate the date of last update at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
